My Daughter's Eyes

My Daughter's eyes are a heavenly sight,
they dance around with mischief and light.
Smiling with fire, passion and delight
or perhaps if you are game, a pretty good fight.

A look into her eyes, an angel for the meeting
burst forth in a glance from her keeping,
touching your heart with what she is seeking.
but always inside what she feels and is thinking.

Beautiful and soft, flecks of light from the skies
In my daughter's eyes this sacred gift lies...
Like pools, a soulful song hung musics shinning sound,
life's energy and her essence do here abound.

Like a storm of lightening in a faraway glance
dark skies mirror life's memories in a instance,
traveling miles on a strong light of constance.
Inspiring all on a splendid journey of cosmic distance.

To this goddess of life's heavenly mirrors,
with her temple of sight in tender years,
windows to an unconquered soul with no fear,
no Mother could ask for more, yet hold so dear.

She is a lucky girl to have a mother who loves her so much. The poem is beautiful.
